Family Reunion 2009

It has been 3 1/2 years since all 7 siblings have been together all at once. Since then we have had 1 wedding, 5 new nieces and nephews, and a mission. We all made it to the lake house in Tennessee for the week of July 4th! I didn't mean for this post to be so long, but I had more than a thousand pictures to choose from, so consider this the condensed version.

The Dock
The lake house.
The sunset on the river.

All of the Hale boys

Taking Grace out for a ride on a jet ski
Me and Emma
Brooklynn and Emma
Lake house at night. You can see that we were shooting fireworks off the deck.
We caught many fireflies. I don't have a picture of one actually light up, but that's what Grace is holding.
Brooklynn, William, and Jonathan were born 13 days apart.
Janel, Kathy, and Me with the babies
On Friday we went to the Hitchcock's farm (Haley's Family). Haley's Dad turned the old grain silo on the right into a repelling wall, and the silo on the left into a rock wall. David holds the record on the rock wall, making it from the bottom to the top in 29 seconds.
Friday was also David and Haley's birthday.
Me, Aaron, and Kathy
We just love Aaron so much!!

7 siblings plus spouses and kids
The 6 cutest kids in the world (no bias)
The three little kids (not so little anymore)
Sisters
Me and Grace
I thought this was adorable. Grace and Emma are buddies.

Bones

The Humerus bone is connected to the Ulna, the Ulna is connected to the Radius, the Radius is the connected to the carpals. This is what I think about in my sleep lately. Bones, Bones, and BONES. Whoever said you can't have too much of a good thing is crazy. Bones are great but after studying them for so long you can't help but get a little crazy.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day Dad! Here are 3 reasons why I love you.
1. Your goofy, I mean you even look like Mr. Bean.
2. You're fun.
3. Because you gave me dashing good looks and a crazy sister (Kathy I'm talking about you.) ok that was a joke, but really your a great Dad.

If I were to spend this Father's Day with you this is what I would want to do.

Mother's Weekend

This past weekend was Mother's Weekend here at BYU-Idaho. My Aunt Ann and Aunt Kathy came up for the occasion. It was so fun to have them up here going to our classes, seminars concerts, and most of all just making memories spending time together. We will start from the top.

Aunt Kathy is becoming quite the photographer, and campus is beautiful. It makes for some great pictures.

On Friday Aunt Kathy went to Anatomy with Kathy and I and then Aunt Ann came to Sociology with me. This is Me, Kathy, Amanda, and Bailey in D&C. I'm not actually in this class, and Kathy isn't either, but she goes everyday. Their teacher is Brother Baron and he was my BoM teacher last semester. He's my favorite religion teacher. It was fun to be back in his class even just for a day. I'm not going to take any other religion teachers again if I can help it.
After D&C we went to the gardens to take more pictures. This is Kathy, Me, and Aunt Kathy.

On Friday everyone went for a run. I thought it was cute that both Ann and I had our older sister Kathy sitting on our laps. Left to Right: Aunt Kathy, Aunt Ann, Marley, Me, and Kathy.
Good looks run in the family haha. My favorite is Kathy's face.
Saturday morning we went to the seminars. They had some great workshops. Here's Kathy, Kathy and I at the workshop about finding a mate haha. That was the Kathy's first choice for us. Ann and Marley missed most of the seminars because they were at Marley's ultimate frisbee game.
Saturday night we went to the William Joseph concert. He is an incredible pianist. Ann and Marley were sitting right behind us but I don't have any of the pictures with them in it.
Do you see the family resemblance?

At the end of last semester my friend Annie and I made aprons. This is really the only picture I have of the one I made. There is a top half but I decided it is cuter just to fold it down and wear the bottom half. I didn't know my picture was being taken.

Aunt Kathy started a pillow fight between me and my room mates. I thought this picture was cute.
These are my roommates this semester minus Aubrey. Me, Christa, Marley, and Michelle.

This was Sunday evening right before Ann and Kathy left. We had Amanda for dinner too, family is family no matter what side of the family they are on. Kathy and Ann brought up a ton of food with them and left what was leftover which was a ton. My refrigerator doesn't even know what to do with itself, its usually only half full. I'm good on groceries for the next little bit.

Like I said before it was a great weekend.
