Sand Dunes with Daddio

Dad came to Rexburg on the last day of school. He loves coming see us at school. He wanted to do something that we would normally do so we took out to the dunes. As you can tell we were all REALLY EXCITED!! This is what David, Kathy, and I looked like as soon as we finished our last test, Dad was just really excited to see us.
We had a lot of fun just playing in the sand and enjoying each others company.

Look out Kathy! I'm gonna get ya.

Bridge Jumping

On Saturday I had what I would call a perfect summer day (minus the part where I did homework). I slept in, got some homework done, and then I was outside all afternoon. We went bridge jumping, and then went to the lake.

This is Will, Shareese and I, on the way to the bridge. They came up from Salt Lake for the weekend.

Here's the whole crew.
These are just a bunch of random guys that were with another group. I thought it looked cool.

Will, Lauren, and I after one of our jumps.

David
Will is quite the diver. He was doing all sorts of flips and stuff, he put everyone else to shame.

That evening we told David we were going to the drive in. He chose to stay home and work on homework (we knew he would). Since Will and Shareese weren't around for his birthday we surprised him with a cake.
He was caught WAY off guard. It was lots of fun.

A Tribute to the "Three Little Kids"

Ever since I can remember, in my family it has always been Ammon and Aaron (the cool, strong, smart older brothers), Julia and Janel (who I wanted to be just like), and the three little kids (David, Kathy, and Janae). My 4 oldest siblings have played a huge role in my life, and set a wonderful example for me. For which I am ever so grateful. However, David and Kathy have been my little buddies through EVERYTHING!! For those of you who don't know, we are quite the dynamic trio. David has always been so kind, level headed, and patient (he probably had to be, to survive Kathy and Me). Kathy was always the crazy one, we had to watch out for her. If anything bad could happen, it would happen to her. She is quite the tease, but she can be really sweet too. Then there is me the sweet innocent baby girl of the family. I never did anything wrong. (haha yeah right). As my Mom would tell you I just came out old, she says people would talk to me like a full grown adult when I was 4 years old. You can ask David and Kathy what I was for them.
When I started this post it was going to be short sweet and to the point, with only a few picture. I just had fun looking at all of the pictures and decided to pick more than a few. I don't really have many pictures from before 2007 (since that is when I got my computer).

I just like this picture. Janae (15), Kathy (16)

Monkeying around, not long before David's mission. It's funny how things work out. All three of us started college in the same semester. Ever since David got home from his mission it is as if it no longer matters how old we are. We are all in the same stage of life.I like it. This is the only "graduation picture" I have. I knew that I would be graduating early and coming to BYU-Idaho. I wore the cap, Kathy wore the gown.
I was so excited when David got home from his mission. It went by so fast and I was so surprised to find that it was almost like he was never gone. I had to fight Kathy for it, but I got the first hug. I was sneaky sneaky. As soon as I saw him coming down the escalator I passed the sign I was holding off to someone. While they were distracted with the sign, I ran and hugged David. It was fun. Oh the memories. haha.
Me(17), David(21), Kathy(19). This less than a week before all of us started college.

What did we do after David got home? After his Homecoming address, and visiting with all the family we took a walk down memory lane and made a pointless video. We were mostly just enjoying being the three little kids again.

FRESHMEN YEAR OF COLLEGE

A trip to Yellowstone

Kathy used to tease me about this picture, and say that I like kissing the hairy ones. You know that I think about that?.....
At least I'm not trying to be the hairy one. haha

This is one of my favorite pictures. I think it captures our relationship well.

The whole gang. Minus Janel, Derek, and Brooklynn.

JACOB LAKE ADVENTURES
I am so glad that Kathy was at Jacob Lake with me. It was quite the experience. She threw me a surprise birthday party for my 18th birthday. I wasn't very surprised. NOTE: If you are ever going to throw me a surprise party don't tell Kathy about it. I can read her like a book.
This is Latex Larry. The fake cop in Kanab, Utah. He keeps tourist from speeding.

SOPHOMORE YEAR

We stayed with David in Salt Lake for a couple weeks Summer '09 while Kathy and I did our CNA class. This was July 24. We went to liberty park to watch fireworks for Pioneer Day. We thought we had awesome seats, but it turned out that the fireworks were in a different spot, and they were right behind a bunch of trees. We all had fun anyways.

David likes that Kathy and I have good balance. He can do tricks like this with us.

JUNIOR YEAR
Christmas 2009

David and I went to a friends wedding in Las Vegas during Valentines weekend. I caught the bouquet, and he caught the garter. Someone thought we were a couple. haha NOOO!

One of my many adventures with Kathy.
This was July 4 of this year. Our last fast Sunday with all of us here as students at the same time.

It has been so much fun being at school with Kathy the last 3 years, and with David this year (and the many visits to Salt Lake to see David before that). This has definitely been a fun and exciting time for us. I can't think of any better way to go through college than with 2 of your best buddies.
As of Monday (July 12) David is also doing fast grad. He and I are on track to graduate the same semester(which is the same semester Kathy will be getting off her mission) AND he is living around the corner from me in a house of 11 guys. We have some fun ideas of parties we could do (and that is just with my house and his:)). I'm so glad David decided to stay, and that we will finish college together.

As for Kathy she's going to be a great missionary. She will be missed.
Seriously.....What's not to miss?

Call Me Crazy!!!

After living in the most boring apartment complex in town, I decided that I need a change. So, I am going to live in a house of EIGHTEEN GIRLS!!!! I am so excited! It's actually a really sweet set up(and it's cheaper than what I would've been paying at the apartment I'm in now:). There are 5 fridges, 2 washing machines, 2 dryers (no more coin laundry!!), 2 dish washers, an exercise room, a huge living room, dining room, and kitchen area, 7 or 8 bedrooms and lots of awesome girls. I talked to a bunch of the girls that live there now and they all love it. They said surprisingly there is no drama (at first I thought their was no way, but any dramatic girl in her right mind would never live in a house with that many girls). As far as I can tell everyone seems pretty laid back. We will have to see.
I may or may not love it when it comes down to it. We shall see.

July 4th Celebrations

I have had a great 4th of July weekend. It started with fireworks at Rigby Lake on Friday night with Kathy and Aunt Kathy. Aunt Kathy came up for the weekend from Utah.

When we got there the keys got locked in the car. There was a cop who was kind enough to open the door for us. Kathy thought it would be a funny to make it look like she was getting arrested. HAha I have no idea why, but here are some pictures of it.

Saturday night I celebrated with more fireworks in Idaho falls. I went with a group of friends. We got there a couple of hours early to get a good spot, and we played Apples to Apples. The rule was that the green apple cards described characteristics of your future spouse. I don't remember what cards I won, but we would all purposefully do bad if the green card was a bad quality. Poor Paige, she got all of the bad ones. Haha.

Saturday was also David's birthday. He turned 24. We had a big dinner on Sunday to Celebrate. Next time we celebrate David's birthday with the 3 little kids, it will be in at least 2 years. David and I will be done with college, and Kathy will be fresh off the mission. CRAZY!!

After dinner we went for a Sunday drive. We fed the ducks at the nature park, and we went up to the temple.

Family Reunion

I finally got a few of the pictures from the family reunion in Paradise, UT.

Me and my cute nephew Jack.

My cute Grandpa playing ring around the Rosie with the kids

We celebrated Uncle Brent's 60 birthday.
Jack couldn't get enough of the water. Any chance he got he would go play by the river. Ammon and Jillian are always chasing him around.
A bunch of the kids that were there. Only 2 in to picture are my cousins. The rest are my cousins kids. The great grandchildren out number the grandchildren now.
